On Twitter a few days ago, Antelope Valley Thespians, an experimental theatre group mentioned that they are Script Frenzy friendly, encouraging new playwrights to send them their scripts once they finish them. You can find them on Twitter here. They are even offering a cash prize for some playwrights.
I am sure they aren’t the only performing group out there that is looking for new material and new writing talents. So I wanted to open this up to the internet.
Are you a production company, director or movie producer looking for fresh talent and a brand new script to sink your teeth into?
Are you a theatre group, drama class or stage director who wants to stage a brand new play?
Would you, in either case, encourage brand new playwrights to send you there finished scripts when Script Frenzy is done?
You don’t have to offer any prize, just getting their script performed is prize enough for most writers. But if you would be willing to look at brand new Script Frenzy scripts, let us know what you are looking for and how they can contact you below.
